Job Title: On line Product Manager Status: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Basic £35-£50K plus performance related bonus (50k OTE)
Location: Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex

Pier Insurance was established in 2004 and has built its reputation delivering high quality revenue schemes using expertise coupled with a leading provider within the specialist schemes insurance sector pertaining to the mobile phone market. Optimizing the use of technology for this very high transactional volume business we developed web based, paperless products to ensure not only minimal administration for our clients but real time income reconciliation and accurate forecasting.
SUMMARY
We provide a niche online insurance service and we are looking to recruit a manager to take responsibility for new online B2C proposition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and marketing of an online portal. They will need to work with our partners to optimise the website, maximise PPC and build affiliate networks. They will need to have strong analytical skills in order to process data that is received from the website and react accordingly in the market place. They will also monitor competitor propositions ensuring we maintain our competitive advantage
SKILLS
· Search Engine Marketing (SEM) including paid for and natural search strategic planning and implementation
· Development of email marketing campaigns – acquisition and retention
· Building and maintaining affiliate marketing network
· Website management and development
· Online sales skills
· Agency relationship management
· Campaign performance tracking & analysis
· Drive and determination
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal
· A creative approach to new campaigns
· Good negotiating and interpersonal skills
· Strong organisational skills
· Commercial awareness
· Good numeracy skills and a knowledge of statistics
· A high standard of computer literacy.
