When will my cover start?

Your cover will begin as soon as your online payment transaction has been completed and you have received a confirmation email to this effect.

Is there a minimum and maximum period of cover?

The policy is a monthly renewable contract with no minimum/maximum period.

If I change my mind, can I cancel my policy?

How do I make a complaint?

Naturally, we pride ourselves on the quality of our service, and the products we offer. What's not covered?

All claims are subject to a compulsory policy excess which can be found within your Terms & Conditions along with the relevant exclusions which are summarised within the Key Facts document or the main Terms & Conditions of Your policy.

How easy it is to make a claim?

We realise that being without your phone can be difficult enough without battling with long drawn-out insurance claims. We have tried to make our claims procedure one of the simplest in the business, but at the same time fulfilling our anti-fraud requirements.

If I make a claim, when will I receive my replacement mobile phone?

We understand that speed is of the essence when you are without your phone. For that reason, our service standard is to have a replacement handset with you within 48 hours of a claim being approved.

Are there any models of mobile phone which are not covered?

Yes. All phones must be purchased new from a UK supplier within the last 6 months (from the policy start date). This must be supported by a valid proof of purchase document. Second hand /non genuine handsets or those purchased through online auction sites are not covered.

My phone does not appear on your list. Does this mean I cannot insure it?

No. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that our list is complete and up to date, the mobile phone market changes very often. Please contact us to give us the details of your phone, and we will confirm if it is a model we can cover.

I am covered by a Mobile Phone Insurance Direct.com policy but have just changed/upgraded my phone. How do I update my policy to cover the new phone?

Please call our Customer Support line on 01702 568075 with your policy number and the make, model and IMEI number of your new phone. We will then update your policy schedule.
