Fraud Policy

If a claim is presented under this insurance with the intention of being misleading or fraudulent and/or is supported with false documents your policy will become void from inception and your rights to any benefit under this insurance will end immediately. Additionally if we identify fraudulent activity we reserve the right to cancel any policy you have with us and record your details against our records for fraud prevention purposes.

We also reserve the right to provide your details to fraud prevention agencies as well as Law enforcement agencies as appropriate.

In the interest of our Customers we are a member of the Telecommunications UK Fraud Forum and validate all claims against Police, Mobile Operators and other UK monitoring systems through various claims validation platforms which are then further validated by Recyclers operating under the Mobile Phone Recyclers Charter.

My mobile phone does not appear on your list. Does this mean I cannot insure it?
No. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that our list is complete and up to date, the mobile phone and tablet market changes very often. Please contact us to give us the details of your mobile phone, and we will confirm if it is a model we can cover.
When will my cover start?
Your cover will begin as soon as your online transaction has been completed and subject to policy Terms and Conditions.
Who takes the money from my account or credit card?
We will appear on all banking statements as Mobile Phone Insurance Direct.

Please check through both the Policy Excess, and Key Exclusions and Limitations to check for what is not covered by your policy.
I have missed a payment – what should I do?
Contact us immediately on 01702 568070 so that we can reinstate your policy and ensure that your mobile phone and/or tablet remains on cover. Otherwise, you may find we will not consider any claims during the period.

What do I need to do to support my claim?
Provide us with your proof of purchase which must include the date of purchase, IMEI or serial number of the mobile phone or tablet, and be in your name.
What is my phone’s IMEI number and where can I find it?
Your phone will have an IMEI (International Mobile Station Equipment Identity) number. It can be found by dialling *#06# on most phones. You can also find it printed inside of the battery compartment of your phone.
How do I make a complaint?
